Half an hour earlier it was all-out war. "He pushed me!" "She touched my dragon!" "Well he wouldn't share!" "She never shares with me!" "I hate you!" "I hate you more!" "I hate you infinity!" "Meanie!" "Stupid!" And now he chooses her lap for his nap, and she chooses not to move for 40 minutes even though her thigh has fallen asleep and she has to go to the bathroom. They make me dizzy, the goofy goons.
I tried to post to this yesterday but Blogger was down...
Inger...you are such a good Mommy. The tenderness that you captured in this picture...and the story behind it is so moving. And that you recognize and celebrate the little moments as you do...I wish all children could be so lucky to have you.
Children are amazing...I'm constantly in awe of mine.

reminds me of my brother and i.
the two of them on the couch like that, though, makes all the fighting worth it, right?

Your children are just adorable.

They practice fighting with people whom they trust.
But it's a trial.
Tender photo, though.

What a lovely, peaceful photo! I completely understand the sibling stuff - it goes on in my home too! Can drive you nuts can't it?!
Have a great week!

My kids were the same. One minute all teeth, nails and hair then the next minute, tender, playful and affectionate.
Thank you for bringing it all back to me.
Tears welling as I look at this photo worthy of Norman Rockwell!
Thank you for the warmth you bring to my heart when I come here!
