Staying tuned

Fitz said Rove hasn't been indicted "yet." I love how all the Watergate ex-cons are on the news, recognizing all the signs, smelling it in the air. "The question is, will they be able to keep it out of the Oval Office?" says John Dean, and you can tell he doesn't think they've got a chance. Maybe it's just the glee of one who's already been taken down and wants to see others go, too. What do I know? Dean's got a book he's flogging.

I met G. Gordon Liddy once at a press thing in D.C. What a scary character; Manson eyes. It takes a certian insanity, I think--a religious fervor. He's got it. So does Rove. My friend Elizabeth said, when I asked her, that she could tell if somebody was Jewish just by looking at them. I can't. But I can spot a member of BushCo. It's the fervor. Like something out of a Ludlum novel. The Marathon Cabal. The Black Knights.

Fitz is a hero. Somebody had to make the first crack in the wall. And there's Rosa Parks, blocks away, lying in state--that tiny little woman: the personification of first cracks. It's time to stand up.

Ms. Inger!

Most interesting, as always.

The Look.

Something I've never thought about.

But you are right.

Nixon had it too.

I love Fitzgerald and it's not just because he is from Illinois!

I hope the rest of the indictments come down this week.
