He was my fave too. Always so distinguished, and never mushed his words like Brokaw.
Shit.
I had too much drama going on in my life over the weekend to watch the news. I was shocked when I turned on my computer and saw the story of his death.
I'm not sure why it makes me so sad. Maybe because he was something stable for me. Always there when I turned on the evening news, etc.
Sad...just goes with my mood for the day.
I loved Peter Jennings...
from afar of course...
although if I'd had the chance... (grin>
I'll miss him too...he felt like a part of my life.
And congrats on the chance to become an editor! I hope you get it. Dies this meen I half to youze spell chick now? :)

I am sending lots of good energy towards your plan B being a success.. and a huge one!
All is well here.. have to go and do some energy work and computer repair for the vet.. who.... btw never did call in the Rx for my Dunkers.. I had to call the other vet in ohio..
but all is well with my boy... he is definitely doing better.. has more energy than he has ever had since I brought him home.
hmmm just realized that energy work and computer repair .. odd pairing ... but thats me.. odd through and through..
